The Board of Directors is a group of community volunteers who bring their time, expertise, and knowledge of the North Penn region to guide and inform the VNA Foundation’s work and ensure strong stewardship of the Foundation’s resources toward maximum community benefit. Each Board member takes an active role in the grants program.

Foundation Staff

Diana Loukedis Doherty, M.A.

Executive Director

Diana joined the VNA Foundation as its second-ever Executive Director in April, 2019, succeeding founding Executive Director Joanne O. Kline in the role. Prior to her hiring as E.D., Diana served on the Board of the VNA Foundation of Greater North Penn for two years. She worked closely with many North Penn area nonprofit leaders as former director of the North Penn Nonprofit Academy and as a Board member of Fourjay Foundation. For more than 8 years, Diana served as Manager of Seybert Foundation, focused on under-resourced children and youth in Philadelphia. Diana currently serves on the Boards of Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia, the Michael Manzella Foundation, and BLBB Charitable. She holds a Bachelors degree in American Studies from Yale University and a Masters from University of Pennsylvania with certificates in Urban Studies and African-American Studies. Joanne O. Kline, M.A.

Founding Executive Director and Program Associate

Joanne holds the distinction of being the VNA Foundation’s first Executive Director, solely staffing the organization at its founding in 2014. Earlier in her career, Joanne worked with the Montgomery County Senior Adult Activity Center (SAAC), later moving to Montgomery County Aging & Adult Services as a caseworker, but growing into the position of Executive Director for 14 years prior to joining the VNA Foundation of Greater North Penn. Following her first 5 years as Executive Director for the VNA Foundation, Joanne announced her intention to retire, but agreed to continue her partnership when she was invited to serve in a consulting capacity as Program Associate. Joanne holds Bachelor degrees in Behavioral Science and Elementary Education from Lincoln Memorial University, a Masters Certificate in Gerontology from Temple University, and a Masters degree in Social Work Administration from West Chester University. She currently serves on the Boards of Manna on Main Street, Generations of Indian Valley, and Aging Well, PA.
