What do you love about the greater North Penn region?

I love that the North Penn area is filled with civic pride and community involvement. Residents enjoy coming out to be with and support each other whether it’s a town festival, Little League game, or 5K.

What other roles, personal and/or professional, have you played that help inform your Board service?

I have served as a longtime board member and officer for the Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia which whet my appetite for lending my time to help other agencies in the community. Locally, I worked on staff at a North Penn-area nonprofit agency for more than 10 years and served on the Board of the Bucks-Mont Collaborative for Health and Human Services. Since 2020, I have taught Human Services online as an adjunct professor at Montgomery County Community College. All of these experiences help to inform my role as a member of the VNA Foundation’s Board.

What has been the most meaningful part of your connection to the VNA Foundation?

The VNA Foundation has been a truly rewarding experience because it allows me to be with other people who deeply care about our community and its needs. There are no egos here! Just committed and compassionate volunteers who roll up their sleeves to get the work done.
