CURT DEARDOFF
What do you love about the greater North Penn region?
My parents and my wife’s parents, my wife and I, and our 3 children all grew up, went to school, worked and resided in the greater North Penn region we love. We are most fortunate that now our 8 grandchildren also reside and go to school in this wonderful greater North Penn area.
What other roles, personal and/or professional, have you played that help inform your Board service?
My wife, Sue, and I operated a Family Dental Practice for 30 years serving the greater North Penn area folks with dental care. Also, over the years I have served and continue to serve in leadership roles in our Church and its outreach programs for the community. I spent many years working with the local unit of the American Cancer Society. I was on the Board of Directors of the North Penn VNA for 35 years, then a founding member of the VNA Foundation of Greater North Penn in 2014 and continue to be on the Board of Directors.
What has been the most meaningful part of your connection to the VNA Foundation?
As a retired dentist, being part of the creation of the VNA Foundation of Greater North Penn signature Abington Jefferson Dental Access Program was a most rewarding experience. The program is designed to provide basic dental services to underinsured and uninsured residents of the Greater North Penn community through a network of dentists from the Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society.
