Inclusion Grants
Enhancing Access for our Diverse Community
In 2021, the VNA Foundation launched Inclusion Grants, aimed at increasing access to health and human services for people of color, immigrants and refugees, and English Language Learners in the greater North Penn region. The Inclusion Grants were inspired by the health access inequities exposed (or exacerbated) by the “dual pandemics” of COVID-19 and racial injustice. Features of these grants included rolling application due-dates and decision-making, funding available for research to develop project ideas, ample technical assistance, and the option for multi-year support. The VNA Foundation awarded $664,885 in Inclusion Grants and convened a gathering of dozens of the Inclusion grantee partners to share learnings, meet potential partners, and invigorate action on equitable access for all our neighbors.”Download a pdf of all our Inclusion Grants.
Inclusion Grant Sharing Session
At the conclusion of VNA Foundation’s multi-year, $664,885 Inclusion Grant program in 2024, the foundation brought together dozens of the program’s participants to join in a facilitated sharing session to highlight accomplishments, problem-solve persistent challenges, and cultivate relevant partnerships to fulfill the goal of creating greater access to health and human services for people of color, immigrants and refugees, and English Language Learners in the greater North Penn region. Check out the images and compilation video from this dynamic session.
