The VNA Foundation of Greater North Penn proudly awarded $335,000 in Spring 2025 grants to 41 organizations delivering health and human services to vulnerable people in the greater North Penn region of Montgomery County, PA. A complete list of grant recipients is below.
“There is no question that requests for funding have increased,” noted Diana Doherty, the VNA Foundation’s Executive Director. “Within this climate of uncertainty, the nonprofit organizations who are on the front lines helping people who need food, shelter, mental health services and other basic health needs are doing everything they can to meet a growing demand, and we are here to support them.”
The VNA Foundation offers General Operating support to organizations whose primary focus-area is the greater North Penn region, and flexible program support for other organizations delivering targeted programming that helps people in the region access vital health and human services.
The Spring 2025 grants cycle was the final major cycle of the VNA Foundation’s fiscal year, which ends June 30. Earlier in the year, VNA Foundation awarded other major grants, including $140,000 to Abington Memorial Hospital in continued support of the Jefferson Lansdale Hospital Dental Care Access program; $100,000 in Capacity-Building grants to Mitzvah Circle Foundation, Manna on Main Street and North Penn Valley Boys & Girls Clubs; and $50,000 to the Bucks-Mont Collaborative as an annual installment in the 5-year, $250,000 “Kitty Fitzgerald Memorial Fund” award.
