VNA Foundation Board Discretionary Grants

In 2022, the VNA Foundation launched its Board Discretionary Grant program to further strengthen connections with our community partners.

Through the Board Discretionary Grants, each VNAF Board member can recommend a $1000 grant to a current-or-recent grantee organization, with no requirements for application or reporting. Once the recommendations have received Board approval, each Board member is encouraged to meet with representatives from that grantee organization, whether that connection involves visiting their site or meeting over coffee. The point of the program is not only to provide extra General Operating funding to our partners, but to foster greater transparency, dialogue and mutual learning between the dedicated volunteers who lead the VNAF and the amazing nonprofit professionals who make the greater North Penn community a healthier and more equitable region.

There is no application process for the Board Discretionary program, but any organization that receives a grant from the VNAF is eligible for funding through this program.
