What do you love about the greater North Penn region?

I feel blessed to live in a community where individuals respect and care about their neighbors, and work hard to improve the region’s quality of life for everyone. I love the range of different backgrounds and beliefs that exist in, and truly enrich our community.

What other roles, personal and/or professional, have you played that help inform your Board service?

As the former Director of Community Health for the North Penn Visiting Nurse Association (NPVNA), and Jefferson Abington and Lansdale Hospitals, I have collaborated with many nonprofit organizations as well as county government to develop community programs which met the needs of our community as identified through Community Health Needs Assessments. I am honored to serve on the Buck Mont Collaborative Board of Directors, the International Festival Foundation Board of Directors, and the North Penn YMCA Board of Directors.

What has been the most meaningful part of your connection to the VNA Foundation?

It is a privilege to serve on the VNA Foundation of Greater North Penn Board, continuing the legacy of the North Penn VNA and its former director Kitty Fitzgerald, working with the amazing non profit organizations in our region to improve quality of life for our residents.
