What do you love about the greater North Penn region?

I grew up in the North Penn area. Obviously many changes have occurred over the years, but I am excited about the continual community support that our non-profits give to help people deal with issues that have an impact on their lives.

What other roles, personal and/or professional, have you played that help inform your Board service?

As a long time resident of the area I became involved with the Lansdale Kiwanis. Served as President and Lt. Governor of the region. In addition at one of the local companies I worked for, I became the campaign chair of a United Way campaign. Finally during part of my professional life I was a substitute teacher and also did Home Bound Instruction. Currently, I also serve as Chair of the Board of the Indian Valley Public Library Foundation of Friends. All of these experiences gave me the opportunity to meet and work with people and non-profit organizations in the North Penn area.

What has been the most meaningful part of your connection to the VNA Foundation?

I am always impressed with the dedication of the staff of the non-profits we support. Also with the experience of being on the Board I learn more about all of the services our non-profits offer to support our communities.
